Lorrena Dejurnett is the author of “The Inheritance,” a novel about two cousins who grow up together, only to find themselves pitted against each other in a bitter fight for their ancestral home, which is threatened with demolition. Lorrena has written five novels, including “Rosie’s Battle.” Lorrena Dejurnett has been writing since she was 7 years old and likes to weave fantasy into history with her historical novels. Her first book became a New York Times bestseller in 2007 titled “The Inheritance,” which currently remains on the list as her most successful work. She also won an award for Imaginative Writing from the Shirley Jackson Awards in 2008.
