The Warframe wiki has been updated with the newest weapon tiers for Warframe.“
The new tier list of warframe weapon tiers is as follows:
Tier 1: Blades of Lis, Primary Weapons
Other Melee Weapons: None
Tier 2: Lis Prime, Secondary Weapons
Primary Rifles: They come in two flavors; high-damage and high-reliability, with the former often used by new players and the latter by more seasoned enthusiasts.
They feature moderately large magazine sizes and fast reload speed with a tendency to be accurate and precise.
Because they can equip heavy weapons (such as Beam Swords) modifications on their default configuration, they’re considered the best choice for last-ditch defenses when facing large groups of enemies.
Tier 3: Shotguns, Heavy Weapons, Secondary Weapons
Some Shotguns are effective against larger enemies or at longer ranges. Soma’s Modular Shell can equip Riven mods that come in three sizes (Small, Medium and Large), which modify the weapon’s damage type and knockback effect.
Due to their high damage output, they’re considered ideal for taking down bosses. They’re also capable of using Armor Piercing Ammo to penetrate high-level armor of multiple enemies.
Tier 4: Primary Rifles
They typically have large magazines coupled with fast reload speed with moderate accuracy at mid-to-long ranges.
They can also equip Heavy Weapons (such as Beam Swords) on their default configuration, which many use to deal with powerful enemies.
Tier 5: Secondary Weapons
They typically have high magazine sizes coupled with fast reload speed with low accuracy at mid-to-long ranges.

They’re also capable of using energy/elemental mods that increase the weapon’s damage output at the cost of some drain to the Warframe’s resources .
